The Star of Venus

The Star of Venus
‘The Star of Venus’ represents the Roman evolution of the ancient eight-pointed star associated with the goddess traditions of Inanna, Ishtar, and Astarte.
Linked to the planet Venus as both the Morning and Evening Star, the symbol came to embody beauty, love, harmony, fertility, and the guiding power of the divine feminine within Roman culture.
As the Goddess Venus became associated with grace, prosperity, sensuality, and the civilising influence of love, the star evolved from a symbol of fierce cosmic authority into one of illumination, balance, and cultural refinement. Through her connection to Aeneas and the mythic foundations of Rome, Venus was also understood as a celestial protector guiding destiny, continuity, and renewal.
In contemporary symbolic interpretation, the Star of Venus can be understood as representing the union of beauty and power, heart-centred creation, feminine wisdom, and the guiding light that leads transformation through love rather than force. The symbol continues to evoke harmony, radiance, spiritual guidance, and the eternal cycles of the heavens.
Symbolism: Love, harmony, feminine wisdom, celestial guidance, beauty, prosperity, and spiritual illumination.
