Autumn Creativity Prompt - Impermanence and The Falling Leaves
Work with Autumns Falling Leaves
This is a two-part Creativity Prompt for tapping into the healing power of Autumn as Soul Art. The first Prompt is about connecting with Impermanence and the second Prompt with the Falling Leaves.
From consciously working with the nature of impermanence whilst creating a Leaf Mandala for your first Creativity Prompt - you would have jotted down your reflections and bought home some leaves. Connecting with impermanence allows us to open to the possibility that nothing is fixed or static. The whole universe is in flux and motion and we can learn how not to fear the shifting changing forms in our lives. Plus we can loosen our attempts to keep things known and permanent. Learning to embrace the Self- Creative power that is creativity and destruction as one whole is a healthy ground of Being.
In the second Creativity Prompt you are going to create a piece in your Art Journal that allows you to deeply reflect and tap into what those falling leaves within your own life. Using leaves to print, outline and build depth you will create a rich leaf art piece.

You can do this prompt on a small budget
TOOLS YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS CREATIVITY PROMPT
A Book for art journalling or you can create this Prompt on a canvas if you wish. - To start a Soul Art Journal you will need an A4 size book at least. You can choose a soft cover or hardback. You could recycle a book, use an old book etc as you white out the pages with Gesso. Glue - you will need either a PVA Glue of a stick Glue.
White Gesso - its primer for the pages that you will also use throughout this prompt. Just a cheap one is fine.
Water Colour Paints. You don’t need to spend loads for this Creativity Prompt to create a beautiful page.
Brushes, different sizes, including a good thin one.
Gloss Medium or Matte Medium. I use Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish in all my work but again any quality will be ok. You can still do this prompt without it but I highly recommend the addition to your art kit.
