There are two arrival windows each day: Morning and Afternoon.
Morning Entry - Arrive Between 10.00am to 12.30pm
Afternoon Entry - Arrive Between 1.30pm and 4.00pm
Simply choose the arrival window that suits you. You are welcome to arrive at any time within your chosen window and experience the exhibition at your own pace.
To preserve the quiet and contemplative atmosphere of the Sacred Grove, visitor numbers are limited for each arrival window.

For centuries, yews have been revered as trees of mystery, transformation and thresholds — their extraordinary longevity and presence connecting the living world with the ancestral and unseen.
It is into this mystery that Roots of Belonging invites you, as you enter the Sacred Grove and journey into some of Shropshire's most ancient yew trees and the sacred places they have watched over for centuries. Some of these remarkable trees have stood for over 1,800 years, witnessing the changing landscape and quietly holding the memory of those who have lived, gathered and worshipped beneath their branches.
Through a collection of symbolic paintings, Roots of Belonging is an invitation to remember our relationship with the land, our ancestors and the enduring spirit of place. Inspired by the mythology, history and living presence of each ancient yew, the exhibition offers a contemplative journey into the memory held within the Shropshire landscape.
As you move through the Sacred Grove, you are invited not simply to observe these ancient trees, but to pause, listen and remember. Here, the paintings become a meeting place between the visible and the unseen, where the memory of the land is gently revealed and our connection to place can be felt once more.
