  1. When you came to the workshop what inspired you to come and take part?

Having worked with Lisa prior to this I am Woman art project, i just knew it was a project that I wanted to be a part of and participate in. Lisas gatherings have always had a powerful impact on me.

  2. What did you receive, get to understand or learn about yourself and your body from creating your art on the I Am Woman day?

When it came to connecting with my outline before painting I felt very emotional. I felt into how over the years I had been so disconnected and neglectful of my body.

  3. What does it mean to you to have a female body in our modern day world?

It means I get to experience and connect to all the beautiful internal changes that happen within the body of a biological female in the different stages of maturity.

  4. How do you feel about your body today?

Working with Lisa has guided me to open my heart to forgiveness, compassion and acceptance. I still feel there is more progress to be made when it comes to understanding, appreciating, and nourishing my body fully with what it needs to thrive.
